Free, Tonight, and Worth Your Time
Amon Amarth is one of the coolest bands out there to see live, stage production and all. So when they’re throwing something free in Hollywood tonight, that’s worth your time even if you can’t make the actual tour.
Metal Injection, Metal Blade Records, and Knucklehead Hollywood are hosting a listening party for The Allfather Awakens tonight, Monday, September 28th, at 8 PM. It’s free, 21+, first come first served, no RSVP needed, so get there early if you want a seat. The night gets you a full spin of the album, a message from the band, a mini-documentary from Metal Injection, giveaway prizes, and an exclusive Viking Blood Runs Red vinyl variant for sale, according to Metal Injection’s announcement.

We’ve covered Amon Amarth on the site before, and the couple of singles that have come off The Allfather Awakens so far are pretty cool. Generally speaking, if you like Amon Amarth, you’re going to like this record. If you don’t like Amon Amarth, it’s probably not going to be something you like either. That’s not a knock. This band has always known exactly what it is: massive, Viking-themed, riff-first death metal built for a room like Knucklehead.
This is a really cool event for Los Angeles, and it’s not the only reason to be out tonight. Slipknot’s SoFi launch event for the (sic)est Stadium Tour is happening the same night. Two big things going on in LA metal tonight. Good time to be involved.
Doors at 8. Get there early. Check it out.
