Three death-metal-adjacent packages hit the wire this week, and if you’re reading this from Southern California, here’s the short version: one of them is actually coming to you, and the other two are going to remind you exactly how far LA sits from everywhere else. Good week for the touring circuit. A slightly cruel one if you live out here and refuse to buy a plane ticket.
Suicide Silence — Reminders of Hell Tour
with Emmure · AngelMaker · Synestia
This is the one you can actually get to. Suicide Silence are hauling 2023’s Remember… You Must Die back across the continent for a full fall run, and they didn’t skimp on the support. Emmure, AngelMaker, and Synestia is a deathcore bill with real teeth, not a headliner coasting on openers. The run kicks off practically in our backyard, Riverside Municipal Auditorium on November 6, and closes the entire tour in LA on December 13 at 1720. Yeah, that 1720, the warehouse. A band this size playing a room that small on closing night is going to be sweaty, loud, and worth planning your December around.

Vader — Reign Forever in Kingdom of Blood

Here’s where it starts to sting. Vader are a Polish death metal institution, running since 1983, one of the few veteran acts in this genre nobody argues about. They’ve got twenty-one North American dates this September with Jungle Rot and Fleshcrawl along for the ride, about as old-school a death metal package as you can put together in 2026. It also goes nowhere near the West Coast. The map dead-ends in Texas and Oklahoma. If you’ll travel for a show, this is the one worth the plane ticket. If you won’t, start bugging whoever books these tours, because a Vader, Jungle Rot, and Fleshcrawl bill has earned a Los Angeles stop.

200 Stab Wounds — Fall 2026 US Tour
with Tribal Gaze · Maul
200 Stab Wounds have been the loudest name in new-school death metal for two years straight, and this headline run is setting the table for their third album, already finished, title still under wraps. Tribal Gaze and Maul fill out a bill that plays like a snapshot of exactly where the scene is right now. Same catch, though. No West Coast. Thirteen dates that never cross Ohio heading our way, plus a Louder Than Life festival stop. That’s the second tour this week routing like California fell into the ocean. Heads up if you’re going early: Tribal Gaze sits out the first two stops, Grand Rapids and Toledo.
