Everybody’s Headlining Now
Three headlining runs got announced inside of one week, and between them they eat October, November, and December whole. Two of the three treat Southern California properly. The third makes you drive to San Diego, which is its own kind of commitment.
Bodysnatcher — Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home Tour (MNRK Heavy)
with Gideon · Psycho-Frame · Volatile Ways

Bodysnatcher headlining 23 dates at this size is the version of this band people have been waiting on. Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home landed April 10th and it’s the record that finally makes the case they belong at the top of the poster instead of third from it. Gideon on direct support is a fair fight, and Volatile Ways flying over from Australia for their first US shows tells you the band meant it. They toured Australia with them twice and promised to get them over here, and now they have. Both SoCal dates land in Thanksgiving week, San Diego on the Monday and Pomona’s Glass House on the Tuesday, which is either a problem or a gift depending on your job. Tickets go public Friday, August 7th at 10am local.

PeelingFlesh — Fall 2026 U.S. Headlining Tour
with Gridiron · Final Resting Place · Snuffed on Sight · Outta Pocket · Grounds for Assault (rotating)

A slam band from Oklahoma City headlining a full month of the country is a real jump, and the self-titled record it’s supporting has Dave Otero behind the board, which is a serious statement of intent. The catch for us: there is no LA or OC date on this run. San Diego on October 3rd is the entire SoCal offering, with Snuffed on Sight, Mongrel, and Grounds for Assault opening. If you want it, you’re driving. Worth noting they’re also playing Red Rocks on the 11th, which is a sentence I genuinely did not expect to write about a slam band.

Eyes Set to Kill — Guilty Pleasures Tour
with Sicksense · Twist It

Close to twenty years in, and the pitch here is refreshingly simple: they’re letting fans vote the setlist. Guilty Pleasures means the deep cuts and the 2008 songs people still scream, not whatever is newest. The run is powered by Tori Kravitz’s She’s With the Band podcast, and Sicksense bringing ex-Agonist vocalist Vicky Psarakis is not a small get for an opening slot. Two SoCal stops back to back, the Whisky on the 16th and The Parish at House of Blues Anaheim on the 17th. Pick your room.
