The Rainbow Bar & Grill in West Hollywood throws its Party in the Parking Lot 2026 on Sunday, September 6. The bill runs deep and weird in the best way: Stephen Pearcy of RATT, New Orleans sludge lords EYEHATEGOD, surf-punk lifers Agent Orange, Cherie Currie (the voice of the Runaways), and thrash vets Flotsam and Jetsam. Doors at 1PM. Free admission with a two-drink minimum.
If you know the Rainbow, you know why this one is special to the metal community. It was Lemmy Kilmister’s favorite drinking spot on the planet, his corner of the bar for decades, and there’s a bronze statue of him standing watch inside to prove it. Throwing a free all-dayer in that parking lot isn’t just a show. It’s a pilgrimage with a lineup attached.
And what a lineup. Glam, sludge, punk, and thrash sharing one asphalt stage on the Strip is exactly the kind of thing that shouldn’t work on paper and always rules in person. Pearcy still has the RATT catalog. EYEHATEGOD are one of the nastiest live bands going. Flotsam and Jetsam have been quietly ripping for forty years. You do not get this range in one spot, for free, very often.
