Four fall tours dropped and every one of them is worth the money. SoCal eats well this time around, with one asterisk: Cradle skips LA entirely, so start warming up the San Diego drive now.
Cradle of Filth — Majestic In Death II

The “II” tells you the first Majestic In Death run did its job. What makes this one an event isn’t just Cradle, it’s Moonspell on a co-bill. That’s a gothic black metal pairing that doesn’t come through the States often, and they’re not here to warm anybody up. Add the promise of Dusk… And Her Embrace deep cuts and this is aimed straight at the people who’ve been here since 1996. One catch for us locally: there’s no LA date. The closest stop is San Diego on September 29, so clear the calendar and the gas tank.

Slaughter to Prevail — North America Tour 2026

The story here is the booking. Alex Terrible sharing a stage with DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia on select dates is either going to rule or be gloriously stupid, and I want to be in the room either way. Rev3rent open the run, so there’s a catch-them-early angle too. This is billed as the final North American leg of the GRIZZLY cycle, which raises the stakes on every date. SoCal gets House of Blues Anaheim on September 15, a room we know well, with San Diego at SOMA four nights later.

Soulfly — Fall 2026 North American Tour

The headline for me isn’t Soulfly, it’s Nailbomb. Max Cavalera is dragging his industrial crossover project back onto a stage, and Nailbomb almost never plays, so a full co-headline run is not something you assume will come around again. Then look at the SoCal math: five dates in a single week across Palmdale, West Hollywood, Costa Mesa, Pomona, and San Diego. The Whisky on October 8 is the one with the mythology. You’d have to work to miss this one.
